i think uni life is stressful! JC was stressful when it was near test, prelims and As. but now i get stressed every other day just to get loads of things done... simple things like completing tutorials and reading the textbooks to catch up with lectures (which unfortunately are still not done coz reading those texts is simply a chore). my meals are irregular. i bathe only like after 10 pm. i think i'm dropping loads of hair. (i only realise the extent of hairloss after discovering strands of hair everywhere in the room. i don't want to go yunnan!) hmmm there's occasional nice stuff happening too. ran for road relay on thurs. a short 400m+ relay which involved a tiring "slope-y" journey. and the hall seniors treated the freshies to steamboat that night. ate at like 10.30 pm can! fat fat fat.
back to my complains.
the irritating thing about business is that there are presentations after presentations to do. and i have some group project which we have to interview some company. and the tutor gives us less than 2 weeks to select the topic (which after 5 weeks of lecture, i think i only have SOME idea of what's going on), find the company, find the interviewees, and decide on the interview date. it's a bit like a PW nightmare, giving oral presentations and conducting interviews... just that PW gives us a lot more time. but PW sux (though i had fun with my "yeah baby yeah" members). i'm hoping this OB project will be interesting. hope hope hope.
but then again, i chose this course. over food tech. so i shan't complain so much coz i made my own choice. right? right.
certain tutorial sessions are very interactive. there's marketing and OB presentations almost everyweek and we ask questions and make comments unless we want to score low points for class participation. the tutor is not there to teach, he facilates. very different learning environment i must say. which brings to my point. there's no right or wrong answers to our tutorial questions! the tutor just goes through briefly and it's quite scary actually coz i don't know what i know and what i don't know, and how to go about answering those questions. i guess i'll know when i'm doing the exam papers in Nov!
ok sth outside sch.
met up with Stan, Chong and my powerpuff ladies. haha dinner at Parkway's Fish n Co. it was nice seeing them again = ) the moment the ladies unite, we make 0ur presence known with our excited, chatty selves. selfs. hmmm. sounds and looks weird. ok but u get my point don't you?
anyway good luck to Stan for his shoulder operation. hope all goes well! speedy recovery yeah!
and also all the best to Chong. be good in London! and come back safely!
it's nice to be able to get back in contact with 3 of my old pri school friends. I don't really remember being in touch with Stan in upper primary. and he went to Aust after sec 1 i think. and don't know how come we suddenly started contacting each other. Chong... hmmm didn't contact each other much in secondary school. spoke a bit during first 3 months when he was in Vj. and ok, again didn't really keep in touch for the next 1 1/2 years. Xiao Wen, hahaha. don't recall speaking to her at all throughout my 6 yrs in NAPS.
*poOoOoof*
All 3 of us are reunited, through our dear old NaPs! (the boys 'coach' the soccer team) heeheehee. and of course there's Anli too. it's amazing how xw, anli and I can click so well even though we know each other for a short period of time only. and whenever there's 3 of us together, it sounds like a marketplace...sth which we are terribly sorry to the HODS...heehee again, we met in NAPS. see! i love my primary school and love all the precious nice memories it have given me.
Anyway, so many people are going away! (or have gone already) =\ means less pple present to attend gatherings. gracie. marge. jing. dicky. and soon chong and yujun. and in 3 years' time, piggy! = (
