Acknowledging my sources of motivation!

It has been awhile!

Hey, it has been awhile! Was busy with loads of stuff!

I'm in the Hall Colours Award Board this year... nv knew that it's so damn time consuming to decide who get what colours... hard work hard work.

I also went for my hall production last Fri. Grease! I enjoyed it tremendously. Glad I went! hahaha They are such a wonderful bunch of people to watch!

Oh ya, and I was involved in this networking event that my HRC club had organised. The networking night was a pleasant experience... something which I had nv experienced before! Interesting! Spent a lot of time talking to the SMRT pple. Left a really great impression on me!

Had the opportunity to interact more with a professor that I adore! *he's married by the way* LOL. Damn cute, He goes "ah huh ya ya..." "ah huh ah huh..." all the time. Found out he has 2 daughters and he's totally open and fine that 2 of them came to Singapore with their boyfriends. (one is 16, the other 18) How cool is that!

Remember I mentioned about this professional imaging workshop thingy called "The Winning Formula" ? I am so so so glad that I've grabbed the opportunity and commited my 6 weeks to this workshop. I've learnt ALOT!

We covered grooming, did some colour analysis to see what colours we are suited to wear... learnt how to sit and stand with poise and gesture confidently.. yadah yadah yadah! I even had my eyebrows trimmed in class man! And can u believe it, I'm going to get a free hair cut from this Le Salon place... oooohh exciting! LOL. The image consultants were totally inspiring. *Gawks* I think my school paid damn a lot to engage them. It has been rumoured that each person costs the school bout 1k!

Had my last lesson last niht... Fine dining at Meritus Mandarin! hee. Cool. But I figured that it's pretty tiring and troublesome to eat bread refinely. kekeke. After the event concluded, we were all busy taking photos as if it's graduation. I will miss the trainers. Oh wells. The best thing that I've taken away from this whole workshop is the change in mindset! I feel more confident... and I have this sense of drive instilled in me. I dunno how to put it in words... it's kinda like a "Just do it!" feeling Yay! This feeling totally beats the "i-am-so-depressed" feeling I had last semester. I hope this drive continues to spur me on as the project deadlines draws closer in the coming weeks. Go Go GO!!!

Oh by the way, I went for my interview with Singapore Tourism Board! I arrived half an hour early coz I didn't want to be late. The extra time made me so damn nervous man... I loitered in the toilet in level 1. Then I went to level 2 where I was supposed to be interviewed... nobody there... so I loitered in the toilet again. LOL

Anyway, the 2 ladies who interviewed me were really nice. But I'm not sure how I fared coz... ehh... I think I could have done better! Lots of things I wanted to say but I forgot to mention = \ It will be great if I get accepted coz I really wanna see my efforts in TWF bear fruits! But they are only accepting 1 intern so I guess I shan't keep my hopes up too high to prevent greater disappointment. Looking forward to my interview with SNEF on Fri! And I shall perform better this time! haha!

New CNY

Happy Chinese New Year to all!

I experienced a very unCNY - CNY this year! Traditionally, my family and I will go back to my maternal grandparents' place for our reunion dinner. Then pop over to my paternal grandparents side before we return to Singapore...

This year... ehhh we didn't go back! Not really sure why... probably coz my grandparents are no longer around so... hmmmm. No idea. Adult issues. I had a nice reunion dinner at home with my family. Dinner wasn't solely only the traditional steamboat. We had a new grill and we were testing all sorts of steamboat food with the grill. Conclusion: crab meat, prawns and sotong taste fanstanstic! Better than in steamboat! yum yum!

So anyway, the next day, we were on our way to JB to visit my relatives in JB. Funny thing was, at woodlands, my Dad spotted a attrociously long jam... and we weren't even near the causeway yet. So guess what. We headed home! Gee!

I want to grow old with Noahhhhhh.

And I so so so wanna experience a bit of a country-side lifestyle. slack around ... go horse riding... go to some lake in a boat and watch those white little ducks stick their butts out of the water... i can go fishing and then have my small little bbq while watching the sun sets.
